Here are the main things small business owners usually want to know before starting a HumanWebsite build, from packages and care plans to revisions, handover, hosting, and larger website requests.
The short enquiry form is the easiest starting point. We confirm the route before payment or build work begins.
Starting the process
Do I need a sales call?
No. Solo, Business, and Business Plus are designed to start through a short enquiry form. If anything needs clarifying, we can ask by email.
Does submitting the form mean I have bought a website?
No. The form starts the enquiry. We check the request first, then confirm the route, detailed brief, and payment stage.
Why do you check the enquiry before payment?
Some website requests look simple at first but need a different package, extra scope, or a larger route. Checking the enquiry first helps keep the build clear from the start.
Do I need to know exactly which package I need?
No. Choose the closest package or select a larger website option if your request feels outside the fixed packages. We will confirm the best route before asking for payment.
When does the build start?
The build starts once the route has been confirmed, the detailed brief has been completed, and payment has been received.
Packages and pricing
What website packages do you offer?
HumanWebsite offers Solo, Business, and Business Plus fixed-scope website builds. Larger websites, online stores, booking systems, and more complex projects can be reviewed separately.
What is the Solo Website package for?
Solo is for sole traders, freelancers, and small operators who need a simple one-page website with a credible online presence.
What is the Business Website package for?
Business is for small businesses that need a proper three-page website, usually covering the home page, services page, and contact page.
What is the Business Plus package for?
Business Plus is for businesses that need more structure, more trust, and more room to explain what they do. It includes up to five website pages and two revision rounds.
Can you build something larger than the fixed packages?
Yes. Larger commercial websites, extra page structures, online stores, booking systems, membership areas, and more complex requirements can be reviewed separately.
Briefs, examples, and content
Do I need to write all the website text myself?
You should provide the key information about your business, services, contact details, and customers. If you need more help turning that into page copy, tell us in the enquiry so we can confirm the right route.
Can I choose from the example layouts?
Yes. The example layouts help you choose the style and structure you prefer. These choices are captured in the detailed build brief after your route is confirmed.
Can I mix different example sections?
Yes. You might prefer Homepage B, Services C, Trust A, Contact B, and Extra Page A. The examples are there to make the brief clearer and quicker.
Do I need professional photos?
No, but good images help. You can provide your own images, use suitable stock-style imagery where appropriate, or keep the site more text and structure-led if that suits the business.
Can you use my existing branding?
Yes. If you have a logo, colours, fonts, images, or brand guidance, provide them in the detailed brief so the site can be shaped around them.
Revisions and changes
How many revisions are included?
Solo and Business include one revision round. Business Plus includes two revision rounds.
How should I send revision comments?
Send one clear revision list for each included revision round. This keeps the build controlled and helps us work through the changes efficiently.
Can I ask for changes after launch?
Yes. After launch, changes are handled through Plus Care where included, or quoted separately if they sit outside the chosen package or care plan.
What counts as a small edit under Plus Care?
Small edits usually include light text changes, image swaps, minor page updates, or small content adjustments within the monthly allowance. New pages, redesigns, regular posting, and larger changes are quoted separately.
Hosting, handover, and care
Do I own the website?
Yes. If you choose handover, the completed website can be transferred to you after launch. You will need suitable hosting, domain access, and someone able to manage updates, backups, security, and future changes.
What happens if I choose No Care?
No Care means build and handover. After handover, you are responsible for hosting, updates, backups, security, email setup, content changes, and technical management.
What is Basic Care?
Basic Care keeps your website hosted and technically maintained, with routine updates, basic backups, and technical upkeep.
What is Plus Care?
Plus Care includes hosting and routine technical maintenance, plus a small monthly edit allowance for light updates such as text changes or image swaps.
How are monthly care payments made?
Monthly care plans are paid by standing order as a rolling monthly payment. We provide the payment details before the care plan starts.
SEO, stores, and larger projects
Is SEO included?
Basic on-page setup is included. This can include sensible page structure, headings, titles, and basic setup. Ongoing SEO campaigns, ranking guarantees, backlink building, blog writing, and digital marketing are not included as standard.
Can you build online stores?
Yes, larger online stores, product catalogues, booking systems, membership areas, payment gateway setup, customer accounts, and similar functionality can be discussed. These sit outside the fixed website packages and are reviewed separately.
Can you help with automation, CRM, or digital systems?
Yes. Automation, CRM, dashboards, AI workflows, lead handling, and more advanced commercial systems are handled through Solaris.
Can you help with regular blog posts or ongoing content?
Yes, but regular posting, blog writing, content campaigns, and ongoing marketing support are not included in the fixed website build packages. These can be discussed separately.
