Care plans are optional. They are useful if you want the website kept live, updated, backed up, and supported without having to manage WordPress yourself.

If the site is built directly on your own hosting using access supplied before the build starts, basic handover is included. If the site is launched on our hosting and later transferred away, a £95 transfer/admin fee applies.
What care plans include
Care plans are there to keep the website hosted, maintained, and easier to support after launch.
Hosting
Your website remains hosted through our managed setup, so you do not need to arrange a separate hosting provider yourself.
Maintenance
We handle routine WordPress, plugin, and theme updates so the site is not left unmanaged after launch.
Backups
Basic backups give a clearer route if a restore point is needed after an update, change, or technical issue.
Ongoing support
Plus Care includes a small monthly edit allowance, giving you a simple route for minor changes without requesting a separate quote each time.
When you need more than care
Some website work needs a separate small quote. That keeps the care plans clear, fair, and predictable.

For work outside the monthly care allowance, we can confirm a separate price before anything starts.

If your website needs frequent updates, new pages, regular content uploads, job adverts, marketing activity, or more active management, we can price that separately.
This keeps the care plans clear and affordable while still giving you a route for extra help when your website needs more attention.
Simple rolling monthly care
Basic Care and Plus Care are paid monthly by standing order. We provide the payment details before the care plan starts.
Care plans stay active while monthly payments are received. Full payment, cancellation, suspension, and transfer terms are set out in the Terms and Conditions.
Care plan questions
Do I have to take a care plan?
No. You can choose No Care and manage the website yourself after handover. You will need suitable hosting, domain access, and someone able to manage updates, backups, security, and future changes.
How are monthly care payments made?
Monthly care plans are paid by standing order as a rolling monthly payment. If you choose Basic Care or Plus Care, we will provide the payment details before the care plan starts.
Does Plus Care include ongoing support?
Yes. Plus Care includes up to 30 minutes of small edits per month for minor updates such as text changes, image swaps, or small page updates. Larger changes can be quoted separately.
Can I choose care later?
Yes. You can choose a care plan before launch. If you choose handover and later want care, we can review whether the site can be brought into a care plan.
Can I move my website away later?
Yes. If the site is launched on our hosting and you later ask us to transfer it away, a £95 transfer/admin fee applies. Transfer is subject to all outstanding payments being up to date and you providing suitable destination access.
What happens if a third-party service has a problem?
Some services involved in running a website, such as hosting infrastructure, plugins, email systems, DNS providers, payment platforms, or external tools, may be outside our direct control. Our responsibilities and exclusions are set out in the Terms and Conditions.
